Ball mill is the key equipment for crushing materials after crushing. This type of ore grinding machine is equipped with a certain number of steel balls as grinding media in its cylinder.

The ball mill is suitable for grinding various ores and other materials. It is widely used in mineral processing, building materials and chemical industries. It can be divided into dry and wet grinding methods. According to different discharge methods, it can be divided into two types: grid type and overflow type.

Working principle

The ball mill is composed of a horizontal cylinder, a hollow shaft for feeding and discharging materials, and a grinding head. The cylinder is a long cylinder. Grinding body implanted in the barrel. The cylinder body is made of steel plate, with steel lining plate fixed. The grinding body is generally a steel ball, which is packed into the cylinder according to different diameters and a certain proportion. Grinding body can also be steel section. According to the particle size of the grinding material, the material is loaded into the cylinder by the hollow shaft at the feed end of the ball mill. When the barrel of the ball mill rotates, the grinding body is attached to the lining of the barrel and taken away by the barrel due to inertia and centrifugal force and friction. When brought to a certain height, it will be thrown down due to its own gravity, and the falling grinding body will crush the material in the cylinder like a projectile.

Structural features

1.The bearing adopts a large-diameter double-row spherical roller bearing instead of the original sliding bearing, which reduces friction and energy consumption, and the mill is easy to start.

2. It retains the structure of the end cover of the ordinary mill, with large diameter inlet and outlet, and large processing capacity.

3. The feeder is divided into two types: combined feeder and drum feeder, with simple structure and separate installation.

4. There is no inertial impact, the equipment runs smoothly, and the maintenance time of the mill is reduced and the efficiency is improved.
